The Villages of Essex Park is a multi-family property originally constructed in 1991.  Blumentals/Architecture provided architectural design services for the interior and exterior renovation of 8 apartment buildings, totaling over 144 apartment units. Among the improvements, renovation activities included the replacement of kitchen and bathroom cabinets, new interior flooring and wall finishes, lighting, and water conservation upgrades.

A new clubhouse building complete with fitness studio, party room, leasing office, and exterior swimming pool provide this community a place to socialize and entertain, while the addition of a new playground provides a safe place for children to play.

Enterprise Green Communities sustainable guidelines (as modified by Minnesota Housing Finance Agency) were implemented throughout design and construction.
